Obituary – Wade Justin Summer 1974-2025

Wade Justin Summer, 50 of Owatonna, passed away January 28th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Wade was born April 18, 1974, to parents Larry and Barb (Richard) Summer in St. Paul, MN. The family moved to Owatonna when Wade was 3 years old. He graduated from the Owatonna High School class of 1993. He went on to work in several factory jobs over the years, the last 10 at Bosch in Owatonna. Wade’s hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, trapping (MTA member), stock car races, watching sports on TV, football & hockey. Wade is survived by his parents Larry & Barb Summer, siblings Dean (Dena) Summer, Niece Dani (Daniel) Licht, Nephew Damon (Amelia Schultz) Summer, great-nephew Dawson Licht, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Special Friends Brenda Grunwald & Bob Wigham. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marvin & Gerty (Larson) Summer & Lloyd & Irene (Niehaus) Richard.
