Trapping season is here! I have been looking forward to its arrival. Hopefully, the weather will stay nice so I can get some water trapping in before ice fishing starts. 2026 FTA Sportsmen’s calendars are now available on the FTA website for $30, and  I will also have calendars available at the MTA winter meeting. There is a chance to win a gun or money every day next year, but you can’t win if you don’t buy a calendar. Registration is now open for the FTA’s Trappers College, September 13 – 19, 2026, in Wolcottville, Indiana. Start planning now to attend the 2026 FTA National Rendezvous, August 7 – 8, in Macon, Missouri.
