Alexandria Youth Outdoor Day

Alexandria Youth Outdoor Activity day. This year was another huge success. Nearly 4000 were registered through the gate at last count. The Minnesota Trappers Association booth was the hot spot once again. The youth played a plinko game to see if they won a raccoon fur hat, activity book or track finder book. The fur display was a big hit again and many kids and parents were very interested. There were tubs of dirt for the kids to use the animal track kit so they could see the tracks in the dirt. There were traps on display and coyote demonstrations going on all day. There was even a photo opportunity for each youngster that wanted to, to see what they may look like as a future trapper. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped behind the tables again this year. There was a  line 100 feet long waiting most of the day.
