Read this page carefully, and follow the instructions.
- Fill in your information on the form below.
- Print a hard copy of this page to take to your In-Field Training.
- Submit the form below electronically by clicking on the Submit button.
A printed hard copy of this page should be provided to your In-Field Training Instructor. It will confirm that you have completed the exam and are qualified to participate in the In-Field Training as required.
Note: If you used a handheld device to take the exam (smartphones, tablets, etc.) without access to a printer, you might take a screenshot of the page before hitting the send button with your personal information. You will need to provide this "proof of exam completion" to your field instructor to participate in the In-Field training activities.
Upon completing the In-Field training, please send a copy of this "Exam Completion" page and the appropriate signed field training paperwork to Shawn Johnson (address below) for final processing and validation through St. Paul DNR. This will make an MN resident trapper certified and eligible to purchase a Minnesota trapping license. Your certification card will arrive by mail but is unnecessary for a license purchase once your certification has been validated in MNDNR's ELS (Electronic Licensing System).
