2025 Trapper’s Day at the Capital

The annual Trapper’s Day at the Capital will be on Wednesday, March 5th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in room 323 of the Capital. Notice the change in venue from the normal State Office building, which is under construction.

Now is the time to make appointments with your state Senator and your House of Representatives member for that day. Make them now, their appointment schedules fill up quickly. You can either email them or call their office to make the appointment. Tell them you are a constituent and are going to be at the Capital for the Trapper’s day, and would like to meet with them. I can help you make the appointment and even go to the meeting with you if you want. No need to be intimidated, they want to meet with you. Be sure to line up your meetings at least one hour apart, it takes a while to walk between the Senate building and the Centennial building where the House members are located. Carpooling is a definite possibility. Call your district director, he may be able to line up a ride for you if you want. You can also go to the meetings together if you have the same representatives.

We had a great turnout of legislators last year, lets fill the room with trappers to show them we are a group to be taken seriously. Hope to see you there!!
