Another good convention has come and gone. A big thanks to all the volunteers. There is no way the convention would be what it is today without them. I would especially like to thank T.J. Johnson for being the go to guy and making sure everything went smoothly. Also, thanks to all the local boys for sticking around Sunday for cleanup.
The winter meeting will be January 3rd in Isle. Next summer we will be heading north to Chisholm for the convention, which will be on ,August 13-15. It looks like a good spot with plenty of things to do for the whole family.
As you may have already heard, Butch Dykhoff is stepping down as our director. Butch as been like a rock, as our district 3 director for 20 plus years. He deserves all our gratitude so thank him for his years of service when you see him. Butch will be a hard act to follow. You can bet I will be calling on his years of knowledge.
Congratulations to district 8 and Mark Melby for winning the tanned fur contest. Thanks to all who donated, and let’s keep the furs coming until all the needs are met.
