Where did this summer go? The 2008 convention is over already and as always it was a good one. Butch and his crew did a great job. Next year the convention will be held in Chisholm on August 14-156, 2009. It is our 50th anniversary and it should be a great one.
This year I have decided to have our District meeting at Ordean Sundrud’s, along with his annual rendezvous. It will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008. If you can, share a ride and save on gas. You never know, Ordean may even serve beaver for dinner!!
The tanned fur project is again having the contest for the districts, and the one that donates the most fur will have a gun for the raffle. So if you donate any fur make sure you say it’s from District 2.
The winter meet will be in Isle again on Jan.3, 2009 at the school.
Better get your traps ready; season will be here before you know it.
