50th Anniversary Commemorative Trap

Details on how to purchase one will soon be available.

This highly collectable trap has been gold plated throughout with the exception of the pan which is nickel plated. Numbers 1-10 will be auctioned off Saturday evening at the summer convention. Trap numbers 11-200 will be available on a first postmarked basis starting July 10th. The first 190 envelopes received with a postmark closest (but not before) July 10th will win a trap. Any envelopes received with a postmark before July 10th will be disqualified and returned to sender unopened. In addition envelopes received after the 190 traps are gone will be returned to sender unopened. If your envelope isn't returned you are a winner. In the event that more then 190 envelopes are received having a July 10th postmark a computerized drawing will be held to determine the winners.

Rules are as follows:

  1. No postmarks before July 10th will be considered
  2. Limit one trap per person, one request per envelope
  3. The cost of the trap is $125.00 for MTA members with the trap picked up at the convention.
  4. For traps not picked up at the convention please add $10 for priority mail postage.
  5. Non MTA members will need to add $10 extra to become MTA members for one year. You will not receive the Trapper and Predator Caller Magazine but will receive 4 great copies of the MTA Newsletter Magazine which is well worth the cost of joining the MTA.
  6. No traps will be shipped or delivered until the MTA summer convention on August 14th. If you were a winner you can pick up your trap at the MTA booth on August 14th or 15th.
  7. Please make all checks out to The Minnesota Trappers Association in the following amounts: MTA members with trap to be picked at convention $125.00, MTA members with trap to be shipped after the convention $135.00, Non MTA member with trap to be picked up at convention $135.00, Non MTA member with trap to be shipped after the convention $145.00.
  8. Envelopes with check enclosed to be mailed to:

  9. Please be sure to have your return address on your envelope and a note inside your envelope on whether if you are successful you will want your trap delivered to the convention or shipped afterwards.
  10. Folks that are not successful in getting a trap are encouraged to come to the auction on August 15th and bid on numbers 1-10.
